Out of College

That's me left college from the 10th of this month, I studied photography there for 2 years. HNC didn't go as well as it could have but oh well, done now :) I really enjoyed the course, though about 90% was studio work, I still leanet some stuff for my landscapes. I must say though, just about everything useful I know about photography has came from the internet, mostly DA, not sure what I would have done without it xD But yes, just an update because I was bored of looking at my old entry.

If all goes well I should be in Tuscany next month to shoot and meet up with some friends of mine, then Tiree with =Turgoose for more shooting. After that, Skye again, and another trip to Rannoch moor, though nothings planned; just if I have the money and time off work. So yes, now just to try make a living from photography, easy stuff eh? xD

I've been taking photos for going on 3 years now, and although I haven't spent as much time on it as I would have liked I've fallen in love with landscape photography and I am now working on making it my profession.

I consider light and composition to be the most important elements in any photography, and without them even the most dramatic scene would be useless.

I use Canon cameras and lenses, Lee filters and a tripod. My photographs go through minimal processing, and although realism is not always my intention, I hope to capture a scene with all the drama I witnessed at the time, without adding too much later in Photoshop.
